The Qualification Specialist position with Applied Marketing is an outbound, appointment scheduling position in a small call center environment. Employees will make business to business, lead generation calls, to executive-level management to arrange conference calls or meetings with our clients. We’re looking to add someone with an outgoing personality, strong work history and strong written and verbal communication skills to our team.
Please note, this isn’t a sales position. Pay is NOT based on commission. A background in some sort of sales may be helpful, and customer service experience is recommended. This isn't telemarketing, it's a soft approach at getting an appointment scheduled. We encourage anyone with a desire to learn and achieve results to apply. You should be comfortable making calls for a majority of your day, working with your team, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing appointments.
Most of our staff work between 25 to 40 hours per week, with flexible scheduling, Monday through Friday. We don’t work evenings or weekends!
Use researched data to call executives across the country.
Reach the decision maker and gauge their interest in speaking with or meeting our clients.
Document the result of the contact in a CRM system, and disposition the lead as appropriate.
Use appropriate objection handling to get the expected results.
Candidates must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office (primarily Outlook and Word), and an internet browser.
A successful candidate will be dependable and able to work with a small team, while also self-managing their time throughout the workday.
Be comfortable working on the phone for a majority of your work day, at a computer workstation, wearing a headset.
Have a professional demeanor and telephone presence.
